This is our best chance

This is our best chance

Jermaine Wright has told his Southampton team mates that it is common sense that this season represents Saints best chance at promotion.

With the strength of teams getting relegated from the Premiership getting greater and greater, the end of the parachute payments and the increase in television money for the teams in the Premiership, Wright is right!

He told the Echo: 'It's common sense.

'The chance we've got now to get promoted, it's still there and in our hands.

'Next season, with the strength of the teams that will come down and whether the squad will be together, the chance is probably greater this season.

'Next season we could have a greater chance but you can't worry about that - we've got a chance to do it now and we've got to grasp that opportunity'.

'We should know what's at stake and want to be part of it - everybody wants to be part of the Premiership, it's the golden ticket'.
