Promotion race is amazing

The race to the Premiership will heat up again this weekend, amazingly, Southampton are still in the hunt, despite a poor run of form which feels like it has been going on throughout 2007!

But with 2 games to go and only one point to make up, the Saints could be hitting form at just the right time (yes I realise it is only 1 win in 3, but that 1 win was the last game and you have to start somewhere!!!)

This promotion race is amazing. I can't remember it ever being this tight - it could not be closer.

'Usually by now at least one of the automatic promotion places is decided, if not both.

'This year that could go right to the last day and so could the play-off race where eight teams could still make it.'
