Injured Saints

Injured Saints

I might run a new section on the website for next season.

Possibly get special reports from the treatment room, as it seems we have more players in there than we do on the training ground at times.

This week we have Jermaine Wright, Darren Powell, Chris Makin and Marek Saganwoski all out, while Burley also revealed that Grzegorz Rasiak is also a major doubt after injuring his shoulder in training this week.

However with Rasiak's injury, Burley has recalled David McGoldrick from Bournemouth, who of course he will more than likely leave out of the squad or on the bench, just like when we had in form Leon Best return from Yeovil. Obviously we don't need in form strikers messing the balance of the squad up!

We also have 2 other players returning to fitness and Burley told the Echo: 'The two positive ones are Gareth Bale and Alexander Ostlund both trained yesterday and we'll see how they feel after training but hopefully they'll be involved.'

While Burley added to the official site: 'With Marek Saganowski out injured, David will give us another option.

He has done well at Bournemouth and scored a few goals there so we are having a look at him this week.'
