Best thing I ever did

Best thing I ever did

Saints striker Leon Best has spoken about how his loan moves have helped him develop this season.

Best spent the first 3 months of the season at local rivals Bournemouth and then spent time at Yeovil.

In recent months McGoldrick has also spent time at Bournemouth, showing how important the link to the league one side is for us and indeed them.

Best told the Echo: 'You get used to scoring and you want to score all the time.

'Then your confidence comes as well and you can try and do other things you didn't do before.

'I think I've got stronger and quicker and working with the team all the time is helping me gel.

'Going out on loan, if you go to the right club, is the best thing you can do.'

We are indeed giddy ;) I'm glad for the boy, I did like him, Surman and McGoldrick. I hope they go on to do well. But I do hope you'll be over to thank us for winning the play offs for you when they get the winning goals ;) :P
