'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Playoff day is here

The playoff day is finally here.

After 46 games of ups and downs, we could now be just 180 minutes away from a Wembley final and another 90 minutes away from a return to the Premiership.

Today we face third place side Derby County and SMS, while the return leg to decide who goes to Wembley is next week.

Give Burley and the lads their due, at times this year our promotion hopes have looked dead and when Burley claimed we had to win our final 3 games to make the playoffs, I admit, I wasn't confident.

But the form book went out the window and now the Saints are in form at just the right moment.

Not only that but Marek Saganowski is also close to fitness and might feature from the bench later today.

Unfortunately, Claus Lundekvam will miss out and Pele is likely to step into the fold with Powell also out injured.
