Not his Best day

Not his Best day

Leon Best was the villain of the night as Southampton crashed out of the playoffs on penalties.

Best scored an own goal and missed Southampton's first penalty during Derby's shoot-out victory.

The defeat leaves Southampton in the Championship for another year and without the help of the parachute payments from the Premier League.

Worst things happen at sea. Not quite sure what off the top of my head but hey-ho, there's always next seasons relegation battle to think about over the coming summer.

A shame you missed out. A great fight and very entertaining over the two legs. Not sure what your penalties were about, is a crime to miss the target! Come back next season, get first or second and forget about play offs! Good luck
