Saints to sign Halls
Saints should sign Stoke defender John Halls for an undisclosed fee on Monday, subject to agreeing terms.
The player is currently out with an injury, so will go straight into our extensive list of sidelined defenders!
Halls, 23, has become restless at Stoke and is looking for a fresh start.
Stoke chief executive Tony Scholes told their website:
'John made it clear he wanted to leave so we felt it was right to accept the offer.'
He was once an Arsenal trainee and joined Stoke in 2003 but recently rejected a new contract offer.
