With the talk of any interest by US billionaire Paul Allen fading away, will Tom Scott now make a move to takeover?
Scott who has been dubbed as 'Mr Jersey' by the Echo, already owns 2% of Southampton's parent company.
Yesterday it is believed Tom Scott made around £44 million from selling his Channel Island Traders company for £260m.
Could Scott now be thinking of making a move to takeover Southampton? If he does, do you support the move considering his connections with former Chairman Rupert Lowe?
