Leon Best looks set to become Iain Dowie`s third summer signing at Coventry in less than a week, after previously turning down a new contract at St.Mary`s, according to the Daily Echo.

The 20 year old striker, who struck 5 times in 11 appearances last season, looks set to leave for a fee in the region of £500,000 as compensation for his training and development, as he is under 23.

Meanwhile Saints have also been linked with a £750,000 move for Birmingham midfielder Stephen Clemence, son of former England goalkeeper Ray.
