Saints on TV

Saints will play Cardiff on Sunday October 21st at 1.15pm. The game was originally at lunch time on Saturday October 20th.

The last time The Saints and The Bluebirds locked horns it was a thrilling 2-2 draw, but still a disappointing result for Saints who did lead 2-0 at half time.

This is the first game on Sky at St.Marys since the defeat to Derby.

Saints have a poor home Sky record since dropping to the Championship, the last win coming against Luton in our first season in the Championship, Theo Walcott scored a fantastic lob from a tight angle.

The Bluebirds are managed by former Saint Dave Jones, both of Claus' goals have been against sides managed by Dave Jones.

just think, once upon a time saints would only play cardiff in the cups and they would rest players against them. how times have changed.
