Hands off Rasiak!

A national newspaper yesterday reported that Rasiak was on his way to Sheffield Wednesday for a fee on £2million.

Burley rubbished the report, saying he is in his plans for the next season!

The fee mentioned was also laughable, the fact after scoring 21 goals in about two thirds of the season would increase or perhaps double his value.

Rasiak wasn't in the starting 11 for the back end of the last season, due to Marek Saganowski and Kenwyne Jones hitting form.

Rasiak will play some part tonight against Kvik Halden, after netting a brace against Svarstad in the 12-0 win.

It appears the Sheffield Wednesday are desperate for a saints striker, not only did they try and get Leon Best after he left saints but also made an approach for Kenwyne Jones. Who next Bradley Wright-Phillips?

Burley told Sheffield Wednesday not to bother making a bid.

Worrying news!!!! Burley may say Rasiak's not for sale, however I expect the financial decision makers within the club would appreciate a further sum of money to balance their books without paying any foresight to the team or fans.
