Saints win

Saints win

The Lions are no more than a Mid table league one team. Saints only won by one. So why are saints fans so happy about the victory.

It was the first clean sheet against an English side since the 1-0 win at Carrow road. That was at the tail end of last season.

Loan signing Adam Bennett filled the void. thanks to his six month loan from The Royals.

Saints won thanks to a Mario Licka goal, the midfield player found the net with a well taken low drive past the Keeper. It was a very smart ball by Rudi Skacel to set up the goal.

Saints have not conceeded against The Lions in the last 4 games against them.

Previous results include a 4-0 victory in the league cup last season. a 2-0 win against them at St.Marys on Easter monday 2 years ago sent them down.

Saints will play Brentford in a four days. Kick off at 3pm

So who did you beat ? Why did your report not even mention the opposition's name. Was it such an insignificant result.
