Surman is a watched man

Saints star Drew Surman could be turning out for The South African national team.

Surman was born in South Africa, his parents were working out in South Africa when Drew was born.

Drew grew up a saints fan and lived most of his life in Southampton. His parents are seaosn ticket holders at St.Marys.

He will be watched by a South African member of staff on The 25th August. Saints take on Stoke at St.Marys.

Whether he will take up the offer as he could be the long term solution to Englands left side problem.

Surman is 21 years old, and can plays in midfield. He scored 3 against Barnsley last seaon in the 5-2.
