Vital saints still back Burley

56% of Vital saints thought that Burley was the man to get us back to the premiership, 39% said he wasn`t and the rest of the votes wanted more time to decide.

It seems to be that supporters as a whole are undecided on the Scotsman`s future at Southampton.

The talks around the concourses suggest Burley isn't the right man for the job, with many people bemused that he can take a strong squad to Sheffield Wednesday and lose 5-0

It's now Crystal clear to saints fans, people have been voting on out poll for Burley isn't the man to take us back up constantly since the horror shows against Charlton, Wolves and Sheffield Wednesday.

Speculation of a drink problem for Burley is always a hot topic in and around St.Marys with the fans, meaning the majority of fans don't trust him being in charge at the club. Radio phone-ins have been bombarded with calls for Burley to step down. As I said, it's only speculation and rumours and would hate to suggest an honourable and polite man like Burley would have a problem with drink.

Our new Poll asks who would replace Burley if he was to do the right thing and step down?

(Please note, the last 2 paragraphs is just speculation and rumours and not necessarily the view of Vital football, Vital Saints or Myself)

Some people have been wondering where the match reports where, well i was always told by my mother that if i had nothing nice to say than not to say it at all.

Don't blame the manager if Southampton aren't as high as they should be....it's not him who's making the decision to sell umpteen decent players off.

Burley took a while to stabalize, ipswich before they made progress, he seems to be working with one arm tied behind his back, like several other managers in the division, but as the article says he is a good guy with a very good track record, I believe he can turn things round but he needs support from the board.

seems like its bigger issues than just burley asa amanager..the club needs to sort itself out a bit.........
