Claus back sooner than expected?

Claus back sooner than expected?

It was feared that club captain Claus Lundekvam was going to be out until March, but good news for saints fans means that he could be back in training by the new year, ready for a return sometime in January.

Claus' leadership skills as well as defensive qualities have been missed since last season when he was stretchered off in the 4-1 against Southend United on the 6th of may.

The saints skipper is expected to retire at the end of this season after 12 years at St.Marys.
