Colchester sell out for saints clash

Injury hit saints face the U's at Layer Road on boxing day.

The game will be a sell out with Colchester fans getting with the Christmas spirit and selling out the home sections, and saints have also sold out, all 875 terracing tickets where sold and so where 180 seats which saints have been allocated.

Saints are still injury hit but Wayne Thomas could return, Jhon Viafara is fit and Burley plans to give fringe players a chance over the festive period, just as he did last season.

Saints fans will be looking for a responce after the home shocker against Preston, Colchester are propping up the rest of the table but are a tricky side to beat. Saints haven't beaten Colchester since we have both been in the Coca-Cola Championship. In 3 meetings saints have only picked up one point, thanks to a Bradley Wright-Phillips opener at St.Mary's which was levelled earlier on in the season.
