'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Phil Ifil returns

Phil Ifil goes back to Spurs after a very good loan spell down here on the South Coast.

He joined for 3 months and wore the 34 shirt for the saints, he played virtually every game when fit for saints, he was playing in his favourite role at right back although could be used along the back line.

He goes back to Spurs in search of first team football, he has played for the spurs. He made his debut when he was only 17, and captained the spurs youth team.

Burley hasn'r ruled out another loan move for the full back but his long term future looks to be at the lane.
