Double delight for Davies

Andrew Davies not only signed for saints today but over the period of a week he was voted vital saints player of December.

He turned in some brilliant performances over the Christmas period, including full marks in the boxing day clash at Colchester.

Kelvin Davis 12%
Andrew Davies 37%
Jermaine Wright 8%
Andrew Surman 10%
Stern John 16%
Bradley Wright-Phillips 17%

Andrew Davies got a massive 37% of the vote. Bradley Wright-Phillips had a good December, Stern John score a hat-trick but only got 16% of the votes, Kelvin Davis, Andrew Surman and Jermaine Wright made up the remaining 30%.

Thanks to all who voted, our new poll is asking what the result will be in the home clash against Scunthorpe at St.Mary's.

Fully deserved. I know voting was prior to the Scunthorpe game however for me the hero of that result was Anfrew Davies. He was everywhere. Kelvin made some good saves and was rightly singled out but his namesake put in the only display this season that has come close to Chris Baird
