Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final

The Wembley final is between two in form teams. Both teams having won 4 lost 2 of their last 6 games.

Southampton have the edge on away form with a 2 win 3 draw 1 defeat record in last six. Carlisle have drawn 3 lost 3.

Today though will be different as both teams have players that are cup-tied and injured. Neither team will be using their strongest eleven but that won't detract from the game.

In the main it will be about two teams who sit together in the top half of league division one. Teams that will be using the players that got them to the final.

Both teams have beaten teams above them in the league to reach the final. Leeds were beaten by Carlisle and Norwich, Charlton and the MK Dons were beaten by Southampton.

So let nobody say that this is a final between week lucky teams.

My dad says we are going to be singing lots of songs today as we play Carlisle of the park.

We will be celebrating into the night as we enjoy the feeling of being winners. Long time since we managed to win something and I am hoping to visit Wembley for the next trip which will be the playoffs.
SFC Forever
Quite an entertaining game and we were lucky with some of the errors that Carlisle players made. We looked good at times and shoddy at others,
