Carlisle will be looking to overtake Saints with a win which would probably put them back in the top six.
Saints though will be up for this on the back of a good run and will hopefully be ready to show their wide play is improving well with every game we play.
Adam Lallana says, 'We've got the long trip to Carlisle, but the lads are relishing it, and we go into it full of confidence.'
On-loan Leeds pair Lubo Michalik and Mike Grella are expected to play.
Three other loanies, Arsenal defender Thomas Cruise, with Man Utd pair Corey Evans and James Chester are also available.
Paul Thirlwell and Danny Livesey are sidelined through injury.
Has shown he is fully capable of scoring goals and could be a threat.
Danny Butterfield could be available as he nears full fitness.
Adam has improved along with his fitness with every game since returning from injury. His undoubted ability could be the key to unlocking the Cumbrian defence.
Carlisle will fancy another win at home to us.
Their record at home is 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat.
Mr Karl Evans officiates Mr M Denton & Mr P Dermott assist. Mr P Hodskinson is 4th official.
Tough as the game is likely to be I go for a narrow win with defences holding sway in the main. 1-2
