Rochdale v Southampton

Rochdale have only lost two at home this season and have had a great run since the start of the year winning 6 and drawing 4.

aints record in the same time shows 6 wins 2 draws and 2 defeats.

Vital Quotes:

Rochdale Team News:

Dale will check on Brian Barry-Murphy who left the field early last weekend after a clash of heads with Sheffield Wednesday's Giles Coke.

Keith Hill's side moved to within two points of the top six last week, and have only lost twice at Spotland in the league so far this season.

Manager Hill has plenty of options open to him with on-loan Barnsley striker Liam Dickinson boosting the goal scoring options alongside Dale's top scorer of last season, Chris O'Grady, and influential midfielder Gary Jones.

Player to watch: Gary Jones

Has a big say in how Dale play and will be a constant threat.

Southampton Team News:

Adam Lallana could return to the starting line up in place of Dany N'Guessan. Adam played in the second half of last weekend's game against Carlisle.

Jonathan Forte made a late appearance from the bench and could also be in contention. Morgan Schneiderlin is drawing closer to being available.

Joseph Mills and Jason Puncheon are out on loan at Doncaster and Blackpool respectively.

Player to watch: Jose Fonte

Jose will have a lot to do if we are to keep the Rochdale strikers in control.

Match Facts & Stats

These two have only met three times at Rochdale and Dale with 2 wins and a draw hold sway. Having beaten Saints at St Mary's they will be fancying their chances.

Ref Watch:

Mr Mark Haywood Officiates Mr H Lennard & Mr R Metcalfe assist Mr R Bartlett is 4th Official

Match Prediction:

With Rochdale being unbeaten so far this year it is likely to be a hard tussle. I go 1-2 to Saints
