Southampton vs. Walsall

St Mary's Stadium

Saints v Saddlers

Party time has arrived as the curtain comes down on another football season. The mood of the two camps will be varying wildly as one will be celebrating while the other will be worrying about the outcome.

Vital Quotes:

Southampton Team News:

Saints saw the return of Morgan Schneiderlin on Monday with Lee Holmes on the bench. Both could start or get a part to play.

uly do Prado may be fit as may Dan Harding.

lex Oxlade-Chamberlain will probably miss the game with his injury as will Lee Barnard.

Player to watch: Adam Lallana

Adam has been in and out this season thanks to a couple of injuries. This is a chance for him to close the season on a high.

Walsall Team News:

Walsall will be desperate to get a good result just in case one of the teams directly beneath gets a good one. A defeat could make the Saddlers the second team in 5 days to be relegated playing Saints.

Player to watch: Jon Macken

Jon is a player that will need to be watched as he can score and does quite frequently.

Match Facts & Stats

Saints have an excellent record at home to Walsall with six wins and two draws. Goals have averaged nearly 3 goals to 1.

Match Prediction:

Even though Saints will be totally relaxed I still see a home win as the likeliest result.3-1

Hope you get the point you need, to beat the Terriers to 2nd spot

So I blooped again. Still think we will have a great day and nothing will be allowed to spoil it. Though Walsall may be hoping we are not going to be revved up for the game.

Not first time. Can we end the season with another win? Would be nice to see us keep winning at home. Especially with a full house.

Thanks TinyT. I hope we will win but am a little concerned that we may not turn up fired and ready to rumble with the slot ours barring a major miracle.
