Southampton vs Peterborough

Southampton aim to maintain their 100% record at home this season with a win over Peterborough at St.Mary's on Tuesday night.

The Saints are three points clear of West Ham at the top of the Championship - and Nigel Adkins' side are on the back of a 3-0 win over Middlesbrough.

Speaking to Saints Player, he said: 'I'm chuffed to bits with the win. It's three massive points for us and we're looking strong at the top of the league, so we're looking forward to the game on Tuesday night now.'

Manager Nigel Adkins has no new injury concerns.

Adam Lallana played 70 minutes in Saturday's win and looks to keep his place in the starting line up for the Saints.

Guly do Prado should be fit to start after coming off with a knock after scoring a brace in Saturday's 3-0 win.

The 26-year-old played a huge part in Saturday's demolition of Boro - and Chaplow, who is enjoying his permanent move to the south coast is definitely playing some of the best football of his career.

Posh are hopeful that defender Craig Alcock will be fit enough to play against the Saints after missing out in the defeat to Watford on Saturday.

Boyd has already scored four goals from midfield this season, and the winger will be aiming to end Southampton's 100% home record on Tuesday night.

This is only the second season the two clubs are competing in the same division.

The Saints beat Posh 4-1 at home last season in League One - and the return fixture was a brilliant affair and finished 4-4 at London Road.
