Good game for Southampton. Huddersfield were blown away as Saints dominated in every department. Huddersfield's manager said that he was embarrassed by the poor performance. Adding that Southampton won the first ball, second ball, competed better, passed it better and got their crosses in far too easily.

Their manager wasn't wrong was he? Surprised that they had as much possession s it showed, but they were probably having their possession in their own half. Overall the statistics only partly show the way the game went.

These stats confirm the fact that we had the better of it everywhere. We are becoming more and more adventurous as we improve.
