Southampton maintained their excellent home run winning the 7th game on the trot. After completely dominating the first half Leeds did at least make a game of it in the second half. Saints hung on well and the defence coped superbly with the dual threat coming from the 'Whites' strikers.

As the first half went by I thought we were going to really do a number on Leeds. Didn't happen and for a time in the second there was the fear that we would pay for the missed chances. Good win a nd defence did well.

The stats don't really show how much on top we were in the first half. We even had a Leeds fan saying how much the referee favoured them against us.
VSrednwhite
Stats sometimes lie to suit the need. I tink we win more easier but last 10 minutes were nervy.
VS sparkle
We looked good for the first half. Second we were mostly comfortable but without the domination of the first half.
VSgirlT
I don't think we would have scored if we was still playing now!

We are just hoping that we can keep the intensity going. We need it to stay as high.
stellarnw
Good win for you and by the sound of it, we didn.t even make a game of it

Being used to seeing our team do it for 45 - 60 minutes we were waiting for you to at least equalise. The final whistle came and we sensed a new dawn has finally arrived. The team actually played as a team.
