Saints went to Bristol Rovers knowing that only a win would suffice. Dominating from the start they came close before Rovers took the lead against the run of play. Rovers took the lead from the penalty spot and came very close to adding a second before Saints hit back. Rickie Lambert scored twice just before half time and kept his word by not celebrating as normal. In the second half Saints added three more with Morgan Schneiderlin finally breaking his duck with his first goal for Saints and number three for Saints on the night. Lallana and the Puncheon scored last two to wrap up the win in style.

the thing that makes me angry is the way we have lost games to inferior sides because of poor conditions. Poor selections have cost us when a couple of fighters would have given us more points and we might even have made more than the play-offs.

Happy days are here again. We have scored five away from home and now we need to do something like hat on Saturday please boys.
stellarnw
If only they hadn't taken that 10 points away. Southampton have to take this into next season and build on it, to get back where they belong and that is a higher league than they are now.
Buzz Lightyear
Hope that you are right Buzz. Scared that we will lose a couple of our players in the summer. Barnard maybe one cos can't see him being happy as a bit part player.
sfc4ghg
Wasn't the -10 that did it for us. It was the late start we had before we could add to our squad. We never got goin till October.
