A much improved high octane performance but accompanied again with a failure to produce goals. With 16 shots and 8 on target against Bolton with 4 and 3 it looks yet again as though our soft underbelly has cost us again. Best thing last night was the way that the team kept going and hopefully the improvement will continue on Saturday.

Excellent performance. Stats say it all, Saints kept Bolton at full stretch for almost the full 90 minutes, but the clinical finishing of Bolton to convert their only clear cut chance in the 1st half made the difference.
