For large periods of the first half Southampton looked the team most likely to score. As the half passed by the Dons came more into it and by half-time they were matching Saints in all departments. The second half began with the Dons showing more often and eventually the pressure told with a ball over the top of our back four which Fonte totally misread, Balanta ran on and smashed the ball home with glee. Dons then began to exert even more pressure on Saints and another ball in from Dons left created panic and after a fine Davis save the ball was slotted home by Leven. In the end a deserved win for the Dons but again it was a case of if only for the misfiring Saints.

Usual story for us. Good first half poor second. Nigel has some work to do and then some.

Oh Yeh - Good first half - must have left my roses tinted glasses at home. In the first half they were average to poor , second half poor to crap. Hardly made any impression on MK Dons in the first half except for a 5 minute spell when they managed between 2 - 3 shots off target. I've never seen such a poorly organised, lack lustre performance in a long time. Nigel will have his work cut out.
