Comments...
Southampton were made to work hard for the win, but the points are more than welcome after the first ever game between the clubs at Victoria Road. After a frantic finish with D & R coming oh so close to equalising after going two down a Rickie Lambert goal finished the game off. Dagenham showed plenty of fight and if they can keep that spirit going they have every chance of climbing out of the bottom three.

Blimey we had 61% of the possession and that is more than we had at home yet they nearly made us suffer for not scoring enough.
VSrednwhite
We may have had nearly two thirds of the possession but the Daggers so nearly undid us and will be thinking that they were a little unlucky
sfc4ghg
We dominated for so long yet nearly threw it all away at the end. We still need to see a better defensive partner for Fonte and Hammond IMO needs replacing.
