Manchester United came, saw and conquered. They did not do so as easily as they might have expected with Saints taking the lead on the stroke of half-time and forcing the reds to make substitutions in the second half to rescue the game. A good game with both sides playing open attractive football. Saints now just have the league left to fight for and hopefully a performance like this will help give the team confidence for the task ahead.

Stats show we done well but the pure class of the United team was the big difference. Giggs is one hell of an impact sub ain't he.
