Southampton managed to keep their excellent run going with a very hard fought victory against the O's at Brisbane Road. Orient had two goals disallowed for offside while Saints also saw keeper Davis make a couple of excellent saves. With the strikers scoring one apiece the Saints ran out 2-0 victors even though they may have had the rub of the green to do so.
