How the stats can show Brighton having more possession than Saints I fail to understand. In an atmosphere that was full of almost pure hatred, Saints were the better team. Even though going a goal behind at the end of the first, half thanks to a very costly error of judgement by man mountain Jaidi, which led to the Brighton goal. For a long time it looked a lost cause as we hit the bar and saw a shot bounce of the keeper to safety. Chances went begging and even Adam Lallana seemed unable to turn the tide our way. Two late goals though, were enough for Saints to claim the points, and shove the anti Saints chants down the Brighton fans throats.
