Saints kept up the pressure today on Huddersfield winning at home to Hartlepool with some comfort. Lallana had his usual good game and our defence apart from a couple of lapses was never in trouble. Harding was simply superb and has to be the man of the match as he created several moments of magic when going forward and still stood firm at the back when needed.

Funny game which we were always in control of without taking all of our chances to shoot. Connolly did ok and worked quite well with Rickie our penalty king.

Always felt comfortable and was certain we would eventually take one of our chances. Hard earned win which keeps us in pole position for the automatic place.
